We have been bringing Home and Garden Christmas Lighting to Calgary homes since 2003. Whether you dream of icicle lights, the modern look or traditional holiday classics in exterior lighting styles, we can design, install and maintain your home’s exterior lighting through the holiday season. It is also worth mentioning that your trees and bushes can really benefit from a touch of holiday cheer as well.
We are setup to supply high quality light strands, bulbs, clips, extension cords and storage bins you will need at a reasonable price. What’s more — if you already have your own Christmas lights, then we will work with them and save you money.
Feel free to advantage of our optional removal and take-down service to keep your home looking tidy throughout the year. We will take down the lights and pack them safely in bins, ready for next year.

Pricing
How Price is Calculated
Lighting costs are according to linear feet, lighting type, and working height. We assume you will want to light up the front of your house, including the eavestroughs and shingles. If your house is 1500 sq ft in size, you may need 200 li ft of lighting. For larger houses up to 3000 sq ft, we suggest you account for up to 325 li ft. For trees up to 10 feet tall, you may need 100 li ft of lighting. For larger trees you may need up to 500 li ft each.
- Our listed prices are based on Calgary’s typical house on a 50×100 foot lot size. Your actual property size may increase or decrease your cost.
- We have a minimum $200 labour charge for Installation.
- Supplies are priced separately from your labour charge.
- Fix Ups / Removal/ Take down of lights is priced separately and charged hourly. Light removals begin the first week of January and continue through till the 3rd week of January. Removals will begin once more after Feb 15th.
Supplies
With any Christmas Lighting installation, we can use your supplies* or provide them at a reasonable cost. Supply costs can add from $1.50 to $5.00 per linear foot. Prices vary each year, so please feel free to contact us for a personalized estimate where we can provide you with the following essential Christmas lighting supplies:
- LED C6/C7/C9 Multi-coloured or single coloured blue or white lights
- Incandescent lights or replacement bulbs
- Icicle lights (LED)
- Clips
- Extension cords
- Timers & Sensors
- Storage Containers
*Note: We cannot use Canadian Tire clips. If you already have Canadian Tire clips on your lights, we will use our own and charge accordingly.
